Financial inputs stay on your device

Retirement Gap stores the ages, savings balance, contribution target, contribution records, scenario labels, spending goal, expected other income, and projection assumptions you enter in the app’s local container. Retirement Gap does not require an account and does not upload these inputs to the developer.

Anonymous product analytics

When “Share anonymous feature use” is enabled, Retirement Gap uses Google Firebase Analytics to send predefined event names such as onboarding completed, daily contribution created, paywall presented, and purchase completed. Events have no custom parameters. The app does not send ages, balances, income, contribution amounts, retirement targets, scenario labels, PDF or backup contents, advertising identifiers, or free text. Firebase may process a pseudonymous app-instance or device identifier and basic app/device information to provide analytics. This data is used for product analytics, is not linked to an account or identity by Retirement Gap, is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking, and can be disabled at any time in More. Local diagnostics

The app also keeps a small set of predefined event-name counts and first/last timestamps on your device. You may explicitly prepare and share an anonymous usage-summary file. It contains no financial values, ages, labels, PDF contents, advertising identifiers, persistent user identifier, or free text.

Purchases

Retirement Gap Pro purchases are processed by Apple. The app reads verified StoreKit transaction status to unlock Pro, but the developer does not receive your payment card details.

Device services and files

A reminder is scheduled locally only after you enable it. The widget receives a minimal read-only snapshot through an Apple App Group. PDF briefs, contribution CSVs and JSON backups are generated on device and leave it only when you choose a destination in Apple’s share or file interface. CSV and JSON files are human-readable and should be stored privately.

Deletion

Deleting the app removes its local plan and widget snapshot, subject to device backups controlled by you or Apple. Before deletion, Pro users can create a portable local backup.
